What a stage! The choir sang in St. Giles’ Cathedral in aid of The Edinburgh Clothes Store (edinburghclothingstore.org) on Wednesday 20th May. The wonderful staff helped to make it a memorable evening with a large, appreciative audience. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
Seonaid Lyn conductor.
Donald Thomson accompanist. Donald and Lyn Leslie played piano duets.

The Choir performed their Christmas concert on December 10th, 2025 and despite miserable weather a full house enjoyed the evening. The programme included some of our seasonal favourites as well as new repertoire. We were treated to four hands at the piano when our accompanist, Donald Thomson, was joined by one of our sopranos, Lyn Leslie, and Donald also played one of his own compositions. A very happy start to the Festive Season.
.'... the atmosphere in the hall was so positive, warm and friendly. What a lovely group of people and what a lovely way to spend a Dec Christmas evening' audience comment.

Breath of Heaven
We Wish You a Merry Christmas

On May 21st 2025, the Choir, joined by guest soloist Mhairi Gibson, held their Summer Concert in the Binks Hall. The audience was delighted by the performance of the choir and captivated by Mhairi’s glorious singing. A surprise treat for audience and choir alike was Mhairi’s duet with Seonaid, our Musical Director.
When Dreams Take Flight

December 11th 2024 the Choir held their Christmas Concert in Binks Hall. A packed audience enjoyed a programme of seasonal music. They were joined by guest violinist Mihaly Stefko whose playing delighted both audience and choir. Mihaly graduated from Ference Liszt Academy of Music, played as First Violin in the Hungarian National Philharmonic and the Concerto of Budapest Symphony Orchestras and plays in the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra and the award winning Szervanszky String Quartet. He now lives in Haddington and has co owned the Lamp House Music since 2022 providing music lessons for all ages.

As well as our regular annual concerts, other musical ventures have included hosting a French choir for a weekend of shared music and friendship, introducing a youth choir from the USA to the joys of a Scottish ceilidh and singing in the Edinburgh Music Competition Festival.
